I'm Luke Tivendale, founder of Lester George Design. I started this studio on a simple but strong belief: the spaces you live in shape the life you live. Your environment affects how you perform, how you feel, and who you're becoming, often in ways you don't notice but always feel.

Exceptional design shouldn't be complicated. And the people who need it most are usually the ones with the least time to chase it. My job is to close that gap.

My clients are people who care deeply about how they live. They're intentional, and ready to invest in a space that genuinely reflects their standards. A renovation or new home matters to them, but navigating the finer detail of it doesn't fit into their world.

My path into design is anything but conventional, and it's better for it.

​

Before starting this studio, I spent over a decade across real estate and the building industry. Those years gave me something rare: an unfiltered view of how people actually live, and of the undeniable link between a person's environment and their quality of life. It isn't a theory. It's something I've watched play out, repeatedly, across hundreds of homes and thousands of conversations.

​

Seven years managing a leading kitchen and bathroom showroom sharpened that further. Working daily alongside builders, trades, and designers gave me a practical eye for the functionality gaps hidden behind beautiful selections, the onsite constraints that make a design unworkable, and the decisions that look right on paper but fail in practice.

​

It also taught me how to guide people through complex decisions with calm and clarity, so a client never feels lost in a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

​

That foundation, combined with a commitment to service that changes outcomes and not just impressions, is what Lester George is built on.

How I work.

I don't impose a signature style. Great design should be a precise reflection of the person living in the space, not the designer creating it.

My role is to listen carefully, understand how you live and what you value, and translate that into an environment that feels completely and unmistakably yours.
